In this context, while analysing the literary works, movements and theoretical approaches of the Eastern world in depth, it is aimed to deal with all components of the relevant languages in a broad framework. Our department aims to provide a comprehensive education that includes fields such as literary text analysis, linguistics, translation studies, language-culture relations, critical theories and cultural studies.

​​Our department aims to train competent, well-equipped and qualified specialists in the fields of scientific research and application by developing teaching methods in the field of Oriental languages. In this direction, it aims to contribute to meeting the qualified human resources needed by our country. In addition, students are encouraged to analyse the linguistic and cultural structures of Eastern countries from an academic point of view, so that they can better understand the relevant countries and develop contemporary and sustainable solutions.
